Determining the Demography of Victorian Scotland through Record Linkage
An ESRC funded project which created the original dataset which this project builds upon. The project has created longitudinal records for individuals through the linkage of the civil registers of birth, death and marriage, and the decennial censuses, for four Scottish communities 1861-1901, and has used them to explore nineteenth century Scottish demography and the influences on it.
