Physical geography in England and Wales

The geography data includes elevation data at 90 meter by 90 meter scale based on the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM). It also includes soil type and quality data, including land quality grades 1-5 from the U.K. Department for the Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).

The first map below shows elevation in England and Wales using SRTM. The second map shows land quality grades 1 -5 from DEFRA.
