Sources for women's work in England 1500-1700

This list compiles specific records which have been assessed for their utility to a study of women's work as well as men's work in England in the period, by the Occupational Structure of Britain project. These types of sources are not available for Wales, Scotland or Ireland in the same period. This list is arranged alphabetically by region of England, within each region by type of source, and chronologically within each type of source.
